Anthony and Teresa (Costanzo) Schiro


Schiro Anthony and Teresa (Costanzo) Schiro celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary on Sunday, Oct. 10 at the 11:30 a.m. Mass at St. Mary’s Church, Baldwinsville. The couple was married in Bridgeport, CT on Oct. 7, 1950. They have two daughters and sons-in-law: Christina and James Kimak, and Carol Schiro and Michael Pellegrino. Teresa and Anthony have eight grandchildren: the Kimaks: Stacey and her husband, John Cloutier; Dianne and husband, Steve Phelan; David, Matthew and Stephen Kimak; and Jeremy, Emily, and Katherine Pellegrino. They also have a precious great-grandson, Charlie Phelan, who is nine months old. Teresa and Anthony have been active parishioners at St. Mary’s for 50 years. Teresa was active in the Altar and Rosary Society; she led the rosary at novena for many years, as well as serving the youth as a religious education teacher. Anthony still serves as Eucharistic minister and also still teaches fifth grade religious education. He is also a member of the Legion of Mary. A luncheon which was hosted by their daughters was held after Mass for family and friends.
