CincottaJoan (Bevacqua) and Dr. Armand Cincotta of Jamesville celebrated their 50th anniversary on Dec. 31, 2010. Both are natives of Fulton and were parishioners of Immaculate Conception Church. Joan is the daughter of the late Frank Bevacqua and Ruth Aluzzi. Armand is the son of the late Theresa and Dr. Anthony Cincotta.
The couple was married at St. Stephen’s Church in Phoenix, N.Y. by Father  W.J. Shanahan. They have been parishioners of Holy Cross Church, DeWitt, for 37 years with spiritual guidance from Msgr. Robert Yeazel in recent years.
They celebrated their anniversary on Dec. 18th with a renewal of vows at Holy Cross Church with Msgr. Yeazel as celebrant and Father Daniel Mulhauser (of Le Moyne College) and Msgr. Eugene Yennock (of St. Daniel) as concelebrants. A brunch given by their children followed at the Onondaga Country Club.
Armand has been a Family Practice physician in North Syracuse for the past 43 years. Joan is a registered nurse and has been a community volunteer for over 40 years. Both are graduates of Le Moyne College and Joan is a Dame of Malta.
The family includes daughters Dr. Kimberly Cole of Boston, Tracy (Larry) Sala, Jodi (Scott) Schwedes, son Andrew and eight beautiful grandchildren. A trip to Italy is planned for Spring 2011 to celebrate this milestone.
