Kids find fun in faith with Vacation Bible Schools

Looking for something for the kids to do? Parishes across the diocese are hosting Vacation Bible School (VBS) events for younger children. In many cases, VBS is staffed by volunteers and many times, confirmation candidates. Always, though, the experience is meant to bring Gospel lessons to life through fun and sharing. The following are some of the VBS events going on this summer.

St. James Church, 147 Main St., Johnson City, July 18-22, 9 a.m. to noon, grades 1 to 5. Father Chris Ballard and seminarian Zac Goodier will help Renee Davis give approximately 60 youngsters a great summer experience. Call Davis at (607) 729-4083 for more information.
