Students send uniforms to Haiti

BINGHAMTON — Students at Seton Catholic Central High School in Binghamton sorted and packaged 1,000 school uniforms this fall for distribution at Catholic missions in Haiti.
The uniforms for the children in Haiti meant more than just clean clothing: it meant a way for the children of Haiti to get an education. In Haiti, students cannot attend school unless they are wearing a uniform, a luxury many of the families there cannot afford. Each student received a new shirt and pants as part of the distribution effort.
