I read with interest the Catholic Sun 3/14/13 issue regarding election of the Pope.
My view of the selection of the Cardinal from Argentina is the same as I received from a friend on my telephone answering machine and I quote:
“Yeah, I’m glad an American didn’t get it. I think this guy is much better. He rides the bus and he also cooks his own meals and he’s a real first, you know, for poor people and all that good stuff. Maybe he will shame Obama into closing Guantanamo. That’s my wish. And lots of other good stuff he needs to do. OK — hear from ya.”
