Mother-daughter tea

   “Beginning to Blossom,” a mother-daughter program for 10-12 year old girls will be presented by the Syracuse Diocese Office of Respect Life Ministry on March 30 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. at Holy Family Church, 127 Chapel Dr., Syracuse. This program encourages communication between mothers and daughters and promotes respect and appreciation for human sexuality and fertility. Speakers will discuss body changes; the function of the female reproductive system; the sanctity of human life and the virtue of chastity.
   The event will include refreshments and raffle prizes. The cost is $30 per mother and daughter and $14 for each additional daughter. If a girl’s mother is not available, her grandmother, aunt or another supportive adult is welcome to attend with her. Sponsorships are available and seating is limited.
