BINGHAMTON—Seton Catholic Central triumphed in the Mock Trial Regional Finals held in Binghamton.  Eight county champions competed in the event. Seton Catholic Central won four rounds which permits them to move on to the State Championship later this month. In round one, Seton, the Broome County champion, defeated Corning East, representing Steuben County. In round two, Seton defeated Ithaca High School, representing Tompkins County. In the semi-final round, Seton defeated New Hartford, representing Oneida County, and in the final round, Seton prevailed over Fayetteville-Manlius, representing Onondaga County.
“This is an impressive achievement for the students on the team and their advisor Brian Hyland,” said Richard Bucci, principal. “Their accomplishments today bring well deserved recognition to Seton and to our region.”
