The Sisters of St. Francis of the Neumann Communities invite single women between the ages of 20 and 40 to consider their call to religious life during a weekend retreat Sept. 20 and 21 at Stella Maris Retreat and Conference Center, Skaneateles, N.Y.
The weekend runs from 10 a.m Saturday to 3 p.m. Sunday, giving women an opportunity to connect with sisters and to discern and to experience a life filled with meaning. There will be time for praying in the Franciscan tradition and experiencing the joy of Franciscan community life.
The Sisters of St. Francis of the Neumann Communities, who claim St. Marianne Cope as one of their own, is a congregation of 450 vowed women religious whose Franciscan spirit motivates them to continue God’s work and respond to God’s people wherever there is a need. The sisters serve in 12 states, the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, Africa and Peru.
