IC students celebrate Thanksgiving

FAYETTEVILLE — The Immaculate Conception kindergarten class of Lisa Egan in Fayetteville, pictured above, held a Thanksgiving feast on Nov. 20 in Dwyer Hall. The room mothers prepared a bountiful but simple celebration for the class and Father Chris Ballard gave a special blessing before everyone had their first bite. The class participated in games and crafts and ended the day with the students standing in front of a “Thanksgiving Tree” and saying what they were thankful for before placing a leaf on the tree. Msgr. James McCloskey also visited and joined in the celebration.
