Bishop Grimes will host the annual Academic Games

Bishop Grimes will host the annual Academic Games on April 25 from 8 a.m to 2 p.m. The games are open to all Catholic school students in grades K-6. Application entries are due on March

27. The games were created with the purpose to help students develop self-esteem and dignity through excellence in academic/cultural achievement; interact and socialize with students from other Catholic schools; promote Catholic education; and have fun. Event categories include Math, Science, Drawing/Painting, Essay, Religion, Lego Robotics, Spelling, Music and Oratory. Contestants will compete on an individual basis and must be accompanied by an adult throughout the day. Students may enter more than one category and every student will receive a participation ribbon. For more information contact kfirenze@syrdiocese.org.
