The Onondaga County Office for Aging in cooperation with the Alzheimer’s Association will be sponsoring several free classes in May for those who care for older or disabled persons.
All classes will be held from
5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m., but locations vary. On May 7, “Changes as we Age,” will be held at the Manlius Library, 1 Arkie Albanese Ave., Manlius. On May 13, May 20 and June 3, “Where Else Can You Live Besides Your Home?” will be held at SAGE Upstate, CNY Philanthropy Center, 431 East Fayette St., Syracuse. On May 20 and June 3, “Legal Issues in Healthcare Planning” will be held at the Cicero Library, 8686 Knowledge Lane, Cicero. On May 28, “Is it Just Clutter or is Someone You Care About Hoarding?” will be held at Natur-Tyme, 3160 Erie Blvd. East, DeWitt.
