Polish-American Festival and Flea Market to be held

   NEW YORK MILLS — Sacred Heart-St. Mary Our Lady of Czestochowa Catholic Church, 201 Main St., New York Mills, will hold its annual Polish-American Parish Festival and Flea Market on Friday, Aug. 5, and Saturday, Aug. 6. 

   Festival hours on Friday and Saturday are 5 p.m. to 11 p.m.; flea market hours both days are 9 a.m. to 10 p.m.

   Mass will be celebrated at
4 p.m. on Aug. 6 prior to the start of Saturday’s festival events.

   Tony’s Polka Band will provide entertainment on Friday and Saturday from 6 p.m. to 11 p.m.

   Traditional Polish-American foods will be available, including the popular Polish Platter and legal beverages (domestic and Polish beer, wine/wine coolers, soda).

    Children’s games, theme raffle baskets, a bake sale, and a Polish booth (items from Poland) will be available. Games of chance will include a Parish Main Raffle with $2,000 in prize money. There will be an early bird drawing for a $100 prize on Friday night and a Grand Prize Drawing for $1,000 and nine prizes of $100 each on Saturday night.
