The people of St. Matthew’s Parish in East Syracuse celebrated Sept. 23 the opening, dedication, and blessing of the church’s new accessible entrance. Dedicated in memory of Mrs. Irene French, and paid for by the French family, the new entrance is a complete rebuild; the old entrance was torn down to the foundation.
