May 16 - Day Retreat - God’s Passion: Our Holiness…
“For I, the Lord, am your God; and you shall make and keep yourselves holy, because I am holy.” (Leviticus 11:44
The Scriptures provide countless reminders of our invitation to holiness, and our daily call to honor that gift of God to us. Holiness is a gift not reserved for the few “saintly” among us, but a gift freely given to all – and intended “that our joy might be complete.” It is God’s desire from the beginning of creation and reiterated over and over in the sacred writings. If God offers the gift, it must be possible for us to receive it. Our focus for this day of reflection will be this divine invitation, and how to respond to it in our day-to-day living.
Rose Raymond Wagner, OSF, will be our presenter. Rose is an experienced spiritual director on our staff, and longtime retreat leader who is currently serving in leadership of her Franciscan community.
This day retreat will be held on Wednesday, May 16, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Spiritual Renewal Center. We ask a $40 fee, which includes a delicious catered lunch. Please contact the Center to make your reservation.
