The students of Notre Dame Elementary School in Utica recently crowned Mary as their Queen of Heaven and of Earth. The Blessed Mother was crowned by sisters Amelia and Brianna Fields (above). Kindergarteners Molly Trinkaus (below center) brought flowers to be given to Mary and Rocco Giruzzi (below left) used his rosary to pray along with the older students. The Saint Therese’s Little Flowers Catholic girls club and the Blue Knights boys club recently held a May crowning at Annunciation Church in Clark Mills May 5. This group of children, along with their parents, come together from numerous Catholic churches in the Utica area for monthly Virtue and Saint meetings to grow in their faith.
