St. Charles-St. Ann’s Parish in Syracuse invites community members of all faiths to join them at 2 p.m. Sunday, March 2 for a Vigil for World Peace. The service will be held in Arabic, ASL, English, Hebrew, Ukrainian and Spanish.

Supported by the parish pastor, Father Kevin Maloney, the Spiritual Committee of St. Charles-St. Ann’s Church organized the Vigil. Terri Condon, committee member, said there will be reflections and readings from St. Mother Teresa, Martin Luther King Jr., Maya Angelou and Pope Francis. Hymns of peace will be led by St. Charles-St. Ann’s choir under the direction of Joanne Balduzzi.

“The event is open to all faiths and families are encouraged to bring their children and their rosaries,” Condon said. Refreshments will be provided after the Vigil for Peace.

The Church is located at 501 South Orchard Road, Syracuse. For additional information, contact Terri Condon at 315-415-4998.
