The Syracuse Region of the Federal Association of the Order of Malta is inviting malades, companions, and family members to a Lourdes reunion and 17th Annual Anointing Mass. The celebration will take place on Saturday, August 17th in Skaneateles.
A gathering for recitation of the Rosary and a blessing of Skaneateles Lake will commence at 3PM In Thayer Park, next to St. James Episcopal Church on Genesee Street (Rte 20). A procession will follow to St. Mary of the Lake Church, located at the intersection of Jordan Rd. and Austin Street.
Plan on arriving at St. Mary’s by 2:45 where bus service for those in need will be provided to the park.
Mass at St. Mary’s will follow at 4:30PM and the sacrament of the Anointing of the Sick will be available to all who seek it immediately following the Mass.
A reunion dinner for malades, companions and family members who have made the trip to Lourdes fill follow the liturgy. Please RSVP as soon as possible to Mary-Pat Northrup, DM, by phone (315.243.5536) or email ([email protected]).
