The Diocese of Syracuse held its annual Men In Black softball game July 25 at Baker High School in Baldwinsville.

Bishop Douglas J. Lucia teamed up with priests, deacons, and seminarians of the diocese as the Padres. They took on the home team, the Seafarers of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church.

The Padres were victorious for the first time in five years, according to Father Joe O’Connor, diocesan Director of Seminarian Formation and pastor of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton, with a final score of 16-15.

The annual game is both a fun activity and a special way to support and raise awareness of vocations.
