On Sunday, June 22, a Community Bike Fund-ride will be held to raise money for programs at the Brady Faith Center. Unlike other fundraisers, this is not a ride for but rather a ride with neighbors who live in shelters, apartments and homes.

Riders who participate in the event will choose one of three routes: an 8-mile, a 23-mile and a 45-mile route, depending on ability. All rides will begin and finish at the Brady Faith Center at 404 South Ave., Syracuse. The 45- and 23-mile route ride will begin at 8:30 a.m. and the 8-mile ride will begin at 10:30 a.m. Following the fund-ride, a parade celebration will be held for both walkers and riders, and a neighborhood party, which will include free food, music, and fun, will begin at noon.

Registration for the event is $10 per rider, and the suggested fundraising goal per rider is $100. Those interested in participating in the ride can sign up online at bradyfaithcenter.org/news-events/ride/ or on the day of the event. No rider will be turned away. Organizations, companies or individuals wishing to sponsor the ride or a rider can contact bradyfaithcenter.org/news-events/ride/.
