Bishop announces pastoral change
Reverend Canon John E. Mikalajunas, pastor of Holy Trinity Church in Utica, retired on February 15. The Diocese of Syracuse is grateful for Canon Mikalajunas’ 55 years of priestly service. He was ordained a priest on May 17, 1969 and has been pastor of Holy Trinity Church since 2009. The Diocese extends every good wish and prayers for a happy, healthy retirement for Canon Mikalajunas.
Father Mark P. Kaminski, pastor of Church of the Sacred Heart and St. Mary, Our Lady of Czestochowa, New York Mills, is now pastor of Holy Trinity Church, Utica, in addition to his current assignment. This change became effective February 15.
