St. Francis of Assisi parishioners (and pets) enjoy a day in nature, celebrating God’s creation on a nature walk in Chenango Valley State Park in Port Crane
St. Francis of Assisi Parish in Binghamton held a nature walk and Mass on Sept. 29 at Chenango Valley State Park in Port Crane. This immersion in nature was in the spirit of this year’s Season of Creation theme, “To Hope and Act With Creation.” Parishioners walked and meditated on the fullness of God’s creation and then ended the day with a special Mass.
