Deacon honored for service to Rome community

The Catholic Daughters of the Americas, Mother Cabrini Court 2432, honored Deacon Michael Gudaitis at their June meeting.  Deacon Mike, who is celebrating his 15th anniversary of ordination, is the group’s spiritual advisor. He spoke to the group about the Blessed Mother Mary and The Sacred Heart of Jesus. The group expressed their gratitude for his service with a gift from Carolyn Trela-Ferlo, the group’s regent. Deacon Michael serves the parishes of St. John the Baptist and Transfiguration in Rome.
