The magic of Disney and the bright lights of Broadway come together this month at Bishop Grimes Jr./Sr. High School in East Syracuse where “Beauty and the Beast” will be presented Friday and Saturday, March 15 and 16. The school’s spring musical offering features music by Alan Menken, lyrics by the late Howard Ashman and Tim Rice, and a book by Linda Woolverton. The original Broadway production ran for over thirteen years and was nominated for nine Tony Awards, including Best Musical.
