First liturgy, then festivity

A sea of green filled the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception on the morning of Saturday, March 15 for the St. Patrick’s Day Mass. A yearly tradition that takes place before the St. Patrick’s Day parade and festivities kick off in the nearby downtown streets, the Mass was a beautiful assembly of those who gathered to give glory to God before the day of Irish celebration.
