The Board of Directors of Francis House recently announced the appointment of Jillian Trionfero as the new executive director. Since its founding in 1991, Francis House has been a part of the Central New York community offering compassionate care to those in need in their final days.
“We are thrilled to welcome Jillian to the Francis House family,” said Alicia Calagiovanni, board chair. “With over 15 years of creative leadership in the non-profit sector, her strategic vision, collaborative approach and dedication to our mission will be invaluable as we continue to serve the community.”
Trionfero expressed her enthusiasm for her new role, saying, “I am honored to carry forward the important mission of Francis House. For over three decades, Francis House has been a beacon of care in this community, a legacy that began with Sister Kathleen Osbelt. I look forward to working with the incredible team here as we continue to serve those in need.”
Trionfero holds a Bachelor of Science in Child and Family Studies from Syracuse University and has extensive experience in leadership roles within the non-profit sector.
Francis House provides a home and extended family to persons with terminal illnesses so they can die with dignity surrounded by the unconditional love of God. Over the years, the organization has cared for more than 4,000 residents and supported over 12,000 families. Francis House is located at 108 Michaels Avenue in Syracuse.
