IC kindergarteners have fun on field trip to apple orchard

Immaculate Conception School students in Mrs. M. Pierret’s kindergarten class had a great time at their fall field trip to LaFayette’s Beak and Skiff Apple Orchard. They were able to ride the tractor wagon through the orchard and pick apples. They enjoyed their snack, eating cinnamon donuts with apple cider, and even got to play at the playground. They have learned about apples in their classroom — the parts of the apple, how to make applesauce, and they read a book about Johnny Appleseed, too. Everyone had a fun time, including the parent volunteers.
