Four members of the Syracuse Diocese complete ministry program for emerging leaders

By Tami S. Scott, associate editor

Congratulations to Syracuse Diocese members the Rev. Paschal Anionye, Sr. Ann Kenyon, Cathy Mackey and Deacon Anthony Miller on completing the Fellowship for Emerging Leaders in Ministry program. The course of study, offered through an alliance between Syracuse University and Le Moyne College, focuses on empowering leaders to thrive during challenging times. Participants learn various aspects of leadership development such as team- and community-building, increased effectiveness and a sense of accomplishment, as well as self-awareness and ongoing personal spiritual development. Ideal candidates for the Fellowship for Emerging Leaders Ministry are Christian faith-based leaders in central New York with more than three years of experience.
