All are welcome to the Holy Family Annual Memorial Day Service to be held May 26 from 4:45 to 6 p.m. at Holy Family Parish, 127 Chapel Dr., Syracuse. This year Onondaga County’s Gold Star Mothers will be honored and will process, with Veterans, behind a Color Guard into the church. The Voices of Faith will sing, starting at 4:45. The winner of the annual Memorial Day Essay Contest (Grades 4-6) will read their essay after the service. Veterans are asked to call (315) 468-4233 before May 25 if they would like to be part of the procession. Their presence is to honor all those who gave the ultimate price for our country, as well as all those who have served and are still serving.
