Paintball brings fun, fellowship and friendly competition
One of the keys to fruitful evangelization is to meet people where they are. That brings us to AAA Paintball Park on Oneida Lake’s north shore.
A total of eight parishes met recently at the popular youth venue for an evening of stealth, strategy and a lot of laughter in friendly paintball competition. Groups from Spirit of Hope (Oneida), Divine Mercy (Central Square), Epiphany Parish, Pope John XXIII, Christ the King (Liverpool), Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton, St. Mary of the Assumption and St. Augustine (Baldwinsville) participated.
In addition to more than 100 youth, pastors and priests took part alongside youth ministers and some of the Totus Tuus missionaries working with young parishioners from elementary through high school.
The teams took to the wooded course for three competitions. When it was over, no one could tell you who won or lost, but they could give testimony to friendship, faith and fun in the great outdoors.
Enjoy the photos.
