The photo above was taken this morning, August 1, on what will be among the hottest days of the summer. Two people found a place to sleep overnight on benches outside our Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception. They wake up in God’s shadow, facing another day of homelessness, hunger and emotional need.

You and I can help.
