The Catholic Schools Office of the Diocese of Syracuse will host Catholic Schools Day at NBT Stadium in Syracuse on Father’s Day, Sunday, June 17. All are welcome to attend!

The Syracuse Chiefs will face the Scranton Railriders and game festivities will begin at 1:05 p.m.

“We are really excited to partner with the Chiefs on Father’s Day. It is a perfect celebration of our diocesan Year of the Family,” said William Crist, Superintendent of Catholic Schools in the Diocese of Syracuse. Syracuse Bishop Robert J. Cunningham declared the special Year of the Family in December 2017.

June 17 is a “Kids Eat Free” Day at NBT Stadium, so each ticket will include a food voucher for each child 12 years old or younger. The first 1,000 patrons in the door will receive a special Father’s Day gift.

Ticket sales will benefit participating schools: Bishop Grimes Jr./Sr. High School; Bishop Ludden Jr./Sr. High School; Blessed Sacrament School; Holy Cross School; Holy Family School, Fairmount; Cathedral Academy at Pompei; Immaculate Conception School; Most Holy Rosary School; St. Mary’s Academy, Baldwinsville; St. Margaret’s School; St. Rose of Lima School; and Trinity Catholic School, Oswego.
