The kids from B’ville’s St. Mary’s Academy got the chance to enjoy the famous ballet on Dec. 5 at the Civic Center. In the photo above, they smile while waiting for the auditorium to fill with fellow students from schools across the region. After the show, here’s what a few fifth-graders had to say about the performance:
“I thought it was really amazing. I loved how the dancers would always jump around, make expressions on their face and always keep a smile.” — Teigan
“I thought it was really beautiful. And I really liked it. And I actually … I started crying because it was so beautiful, and I was tearing up and stuff.” — Rory
“It was very cool and surprising, like everything caught you by surprise, and it would make you laugh or smile. It was very cool.” — Mma.
