Totus Tuus (Totally Yours) — a popular summer youth program used by churches across North America — kicked off its Diocese of Syracuse campaign at three locations this week. The missionaries who present the program come from Syracuse and as far as Texas and Washington State, and they work closely with parish faith-formation leaders and youth ministers to teach our faith through “catechesis, evangelization, Christian witness and Eucharistic worship” (totustuus.church).

In Baldwinsville, St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church is the host site for their young people along with groups from St. Mary of the Assumption and St. Augustine. They are joined by the linked Liverpool parishes of Christ the King and Pope John XXIII, as well as Epiphany Parish.  Elementary programs are held weeklong during the day while middle and high school students attend evening sessions.

The Catholic Sun attended Mass with the daytime-program students, celebrated by Father Zachary Miller and assisted by Deacon Larry Messina of Christ the King and Pope John XXIII. Enjoy the photos!
