Mrs. Duffy’s 6th grade social studies class at Immaculate Conception School in Fayetteville recently traveled around the world without leaving their classroom. Their International Day celebration included presentations each student did about the country they selected. Topics included facts about the capital, the head or the president of the state, holidays and traditions, sport or activities, places they would recommend visiting, and food that is unique to the country. Chromebook Powerpoint presentations were the medium of choice. Parents were invited to listen to the presentations at the IC Dwyer Hall.
