There are over 80 social service programs in the United States that help individuals and families save money and stretch their income. With so many options, it can be hard to know what you qualify for and how to access all the benefits available to you.
The Benefits Enrollment Center exists to support Medicare-eligible older adults in navigating all aspects of the benefits enrollment process, starting with a five- to 10-minute screening to see what they may qualify for. These programs help pay for healthcare, prescriptions, food, and more. The Medicare Savings Programs alone can save enrollees more than $170 a month on Medicare premiums. All support is completely free and confidential.
The Benefits Enrollment Center is a partnership with InterFaith Works of Central New York, PEACE, Inc., and the Aging Services Coalition of Greater Syracuse. Funding is provided by the National Council on Aging. For more information, please contact the Aging Services Coalition Assistant Manager at ASC@ifwcny.org or 315-449-3552 ext. 210.
InterFaith Works of Central New York’s mission is to affirm the dignity of each person and every faith tradition, build racial and religious equity, and create bridges of understanding among us.
