MATTYDALE — Sixth-graders in Kristy Townsend’s class at St. Margaret’s School hosted a Living History Museum in December to show off their research on a person who was important to world history. Pictured here are (clockwise from top right) Grace Hilton as Anne Frank, Grant Rogers as Neil Armstrong, Mikhayla Reyes as Clara Barton, Gianna Anderson as Princess Diana Spencer, and Ben Gentile as Leonardo da Vinci.

The students welcomed in the New Year by participating in a “book tasting” in which the classroom was transformed into “Chez Townsend” and the kids were able to sample a variety of books from several genres.
