Yesterday, Pope Francis addressed Congress with a powerful speech calling for justice, liberty, life and peace for all. He then made a visit to DC’s St. Patrick’s Catholic Church and met with homeless people who are served by Catholic Charities there. Traveling to New York City, the pope celebrated vespers there with priests, men and women religious in St. Patrick’s Cathedral.
