FULTON – Catholic Charities of Oswego County (CCOC) will host its “Great Tastings,” on May 3, from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. at the Lake Ontario Conference Center in Oswego. Guests attending the event can partake in wines from Colloca Estates, Owera Vineyards, Venditti Vineyards and Thousand Islands Winery; local craft beers from Eagle Beverages; locally produced 21 Tequila; and food samples from local restaurants including Man In The Moon Candies, Taste The World Coffee and more!

“All funds raised [at the event] will benefit CCOC’s Community Services including the Catholic Youth Organization (CYO), the Food Pantry, and Emergency Services,” stated Mary Margaret Pezzella-Pekow, CCOC executive director.

The event will also host a 50-50 drawing, a silent auction and multiple gift raffles from food and wine representatives, including a $500 DJ package from Mystic Music, a $50 gift certificate from Owera Vineyards, gift baskets from Dunkin’ Donuts and Kathy’s Cakes, a $50 gift certificate from The Press Box, and gift cards from Hair We Are, Rivers End bookstore and Behling Orchards.

Tickets are $25 per person and are available at the Catholic Charities office, 365 W. First St., Fulton.

“Many individuals and families turn to Catholic Charities Emergency Services to meet their basic needs,” stated Pezzella-Pekow. “The program provides assistance with medical costs, utility payments, diapers and formula, clothing and personal hygiene items as well as furniture and household items. And our Food Pantry is busy year-round, not just during the Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays. Every dollar that’s raised helps so many in need in Oswego County.”
