The Catholic Communication Campaign (CCC) collection will be held at parishes throughout the diocese on Saturday, June 13 and Sunday, June 14.
The CCC supports projects throughout the world that evangelize Catholics and non-Catholics alike through the use of media outlets. With the growth of new media, people all over the globe have greater opportunities to connect in the digital environment. The CCC enters this digital environment by providing grants to support local and international communications projects that share the experience of faith, worship and witness.
Here in the Diocese of Syracuse, the CCC will provide funding for the Catholic Sun, Catholic Television and diocesan social media. Your donations to the CCC will help to deliver local and international Catholic news to Catholic Sun readers, bring Sunday Mass to thousands of homebound faithful, and encourage and inspire Catholics of all ages on Facebook and Twitter. Half of the diocese’s donation will remain here to support local communication efforts.
The CCC allows us to share our experience of faith, worship and witness with the world and with the faithful in the Diocese of Syracuse. Please support this important work June 13 and 14.
