Some 100 Le Moyne College students, alumni, faculty and staff, along with members of the Bishop Grimes Jr./Sr. High School community, participated in the college’s annual day of service April 18. Volunteers fanned out across Syracuse to assist at local organizations, including Catholic Charities’ Emergency Shelter for Men, St. Lucy’s Parish, Emmaus Ministry, Christ the King Retreat House, Refugee Resettlement at Northside CYO,
Franciscan Northside Ministries, Joseph’s House, the Rescue Mission, the Samaritan Center, the Interreligious Food Consortium, L’Arche and Schiller and Onondaga Parks. The event was organized by Le Moyne College Campus Ministry.
