Leo and Mabel Amyotte of Pulaski, N.Y. celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary on Nov. 7. A day before, they participated in First Friday Mass in Christ Our Light Church in Pulaski, thanking God through the Sacred Heart of Jesus for their mutual love and many graces they received in the past.
The Amyottes were married on Nov. 7, 1944 at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Brasher Falls in Ogdensburg Diocese by Father Cotter. They have three children and two grandchildren.
What is a recipe for a long and happy marriage? Their answer is: “love one another and have a sense of humor!”
