Bishop Robert J. Cunningham has announced new relationships for the following parishes:

In the Northern Region:

The Parish Communities of St. Anne, Mother of Mary in Mexico; Christ Our Light in Pulaski; and Holy Trinity in Fulton have been three parishes [a cluster] served by a pastor and associate. On July 1, 2016, St. Anne, Mother of Mary and Christ Our Light Churches will return to their previous relationship as linked parishes. Holy Trinity Church will be served by a pastor. At some time in the future, Holy Trinity and St. Stephen’s in Phoenix will be linked.

In Oswego, St. Joseph Church and St. Stephen the King Church will continue their linkage. At some future time, Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church in Minetto will be joined to them as they become a parish cluster.

In the Eastern Region:

Effective July 1, 2016, the parish of Our Lady of the Rosary Church in New Hartford and Our Lady of Lourdes in Utica will be linked and served by a pastor and a parochial vicar.

These changes indicate Bishop Cunningham’s commitment to be present to our faith communities. These leadership transitions invite parishes to new levels of collaboration, creativity in sharing the staff and resources, and planning for each to become stronger as they grow as co-responsible parishes. Bishop asks for your prayerful personal support as pastors extend their ministry to provide for the care of parishes. He also asks us all to pray for vocations.
