On Aug. 13, 2015, Deacon Raymond J. Goskowski, 89, of Bethlehem, Pa., formerly of Sunrise Terrace, Binghamton, N.Y., passed away at his residence. He was a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Parish in Bethlehem, Pa.

Deacon Goskowski was born in Forest City, Pa., and served as a permanent deacon in the Diocese of Syracuse for 30 years. He served his country faithfully in the U.S. Army and Air Force during World War II.

He is survived by his loving wife Martha (Giltenboth); his children Beverly Goskowski of Hellertown, Brenda M. (Jim) Dailey of Bethlehem, Raymond M. Goskowski of Milford, Conn., and Margret R. Crane of Endicott, N.Y.; his grandchildren, James and Alexander Dailey, Vienna Goskowski, James Anthony and Samuel Ray Crane; and many caring nieces and nephews. Nine siblings predeceased him.

A funeral service was held at Our Lady of Perpetual Help on Aug. 17. Interment followed at Sacred Heart Cemetery, Forest City, Pa.
