We connected with Sister Anne Lamoreaux, who is a Daughter of Charity and taught at Seton Catholic Central in the 1980’s.  We are currently looking at renovating our Chapel and we wanted to strengthening our ties with the Seton Shrine. Sr. Anne Marie donated her class 1 relic of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton. to our school and chapel.  We took a trip to Emmitsburg, MD with 30 students to visit the Shrine and have a ceremony celebrating this gift. We also presented a donation to Sr. Anne Marie for her mission “Seeds of Hope”. This is a mission which will allow schools to be able to afford retreats for their students. The students also visited the National Shrine located at Mount St. Mary University. It was an amazing trip that allowed us to strengthen our faith and connection to Mother Seton.
