Father Jason Hage, parochial vicar of Holy Family Church in Syracuse, led a five-week series this summer, based on Father Michael Gaitley’s book 33 Days to Morning Glory and focusing on deepening one’s relationship with Jesus through Mary. Each Monday evening retreat ended with recitation of the rosary at the parish’s Our Lady of Lourdes grotto. Participants were encouraged to celebrate the Feast of the Assumption Aug. 15 with Mass at the parish and a personal consecration to Jesus through Mary. More than 100 people participated throughout the summer, according to Father Hage. Here, some moments from the Aug. 1 retreat.
