Sweet Sensations XI, to benefit Franciscan Northside Ministries, will be held Nov. 14 at St. Daniel School Auditorium, 3004 Court St., Syracuse, begining at 6:30 p.m.

The annual event brings a mix of entertainment, a sampling of light refreshments and a chance to win a selection of wonderful baskets and prizes. This year’s show, which is underwritten by John and Patricia Scarsi and The Knights and Dames of Malta, will begin at 7:30 p.m., and will include a selection of Broadway show tunes under the direction of Brad Ozinsky, with a new all-star cast, including Moe Harrington and Katie Reed.

Gift baskets donated by local supporters and businesses will be raffled off during the evening and there will be a silent auction with prizes that include a one-week stay at a camp on the St. Lawrence River; two tickets to Famous Artists’ presentation of “Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat”; and a night at Bonnie Castle in Alexandria Bay.

Proceeds from the event will go to the Franciscan ministries that help those in and around the North side of Syracuse with programs such as medical and legal assistance.
