Bishop Robert J. Cunningham of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Syracuse will host the fourth and final Jubilee Year of Mercy Holy Hour on Sept. 18 in Binghamton.

The event will begin at 2 p.m. at St. Patrick Church, 9 Leroy St. All are welcome.

Bishop Cunningham held three previous Holy Hours in each region of the diocese in recognition of diocesan employees and volunteers, youth, and health-care workers. The final Holy Hour will recognize students and families from throughout the Southern region and across the diocese. The Holy Hour will include Liturgy of the Word, a homily by Bishop Cunningham, and benediction. There will also be an opportunity for confession.

A Jubilee Year of Mercy was declared by Pope Francis, beginning Dec. 8, 2015, and concluding Nov. 20 with the closing of the Holy Door and a special Mass at 9:45 a.m. at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception in Syracuse.
