Players on Bishop Ludden’s men’s varsity soccer team has more than just soccer on their minds. The team recently participated in raising money for the fight against cancer by working with the More Than a Game Foundation. By collecting financial pledges, the team members raised $1,136 that will go toward fighting cancer.   In addition, the soccer team has been striving hard to be role models off the field as well as on. Each Monday, team members give up their time to mentor “little brothers” from Most Holy Rosary Elementary School. The program is a part of the Big Brothers/Big Sisters School-Based Mentoring Program, and has been an ongoing initiative at Bishop Ludden Jr./Sr. High School for the past 12 years.
