The third grade students at Blessed Sacrament School in Syracuse celebrated Sister M. Nicolette Vennaro, a Franciscan sister, in style recently for being honored at the diocese’s Jan. 23 Light the Way dinner. Twenty-one women religious who serve in the diocese’s Catholic schools were honored that evening.
To celebrate Sister Nicolette’s contributions to their school, Blessed Sacrament students honored her with festive balloons, a poster and a cake thanking her for her years of service.
