DEWITT — Christian Brothers Academy sophomore Katie Toole; freshmen Sarah MacLachlan, Talia Zames and Aidan Wheeler; and eighth grader Shivam Nanavati recently attended a question and answer session with Bill Gates, co-founder of Microsoft, and his wife Melinda, in Manhattan.
The students attended a breakfast with other participants and then participated in a “Moonshot Sprint” before the session with the Gates.
This opportunity came about through the Junior Academy of the Global STEM Alliance that the students have been participating in since the fall.
